For the transcripts of each nominee's qualifications and experience - see below.

Peter Chivers:

I have now been a member of the Board for the past 4 years as a Director. During that time I have at all times done my best to represent the wishes of you our members and I believe that I still have a great deal to offer to the members of our great club To those new members who do not know me I have been a member of our club since 2004, I held the position of Men's Golf Secretary for 13 years, until 2022 when I was first elected as a Director of the Country Club. I am once again seeking your vote and as I have stated in previous years, I am not offering any magnificent items which I cannot deliver, I promise all members that if elected I will continue to act in a professional manner and strive to obtain benefits and results beneficial to all of our members.

I was a member of the New South Wales Police for 33 years retiring in 2004. During my time in the Police I managed many complex investigations. I also for the last few years was in a senior management position overseeing a staff of 90 personnel. I hold Certificates in Total Quality Management, Management Development Supervision, Complaints Conciliation, First Line Command and Disaster Victim Registration, which give me an extremely good grounding to carry out the role of club Director. Since being elected to the Board I have successfully completed a number of further courses to better equip me in the position of Director. I have also throughout my life been active in voluntary positions including, Mens Golf St Georges Basin Country Club (Life Member), NSW Blue Light (Life Member), Tocumwal and District Rescue Squad (Life Member), Victorian State Emergency Services, Tocumwal Rotary Club (Past President) and many others.

Paul Davis:

For more than two decades, I have proudly called this community home. My background is deeply rooted in hospitality and business, having held senior leadership roles across major national retailers including IGA, BI-LO, Franklins, Coles and Centrepoint. I also successfully operated my own businesses in Dubbo for over 10 years, giving me the commercial insight and operational experience essential to supporting a complex and evolving Club like ours.

My history with the Country Club spans decades. I first served as a Director in 2004 and was honoured to act as your Vice President from 2005 to 2015 — a period during which I was actively involved in many of the Club's strategic developments and community initiatives. I've also had the privilege of serving as President of the Men's Bowling Club, and prior to that, President of the St Georges Basin Golf Club (2002-2003).

I returned to the Board because I believe deeply in the role this Club plays in supporting not just hospitality, but our sporting and community groups — especially our bowling and golf clubs. I remain committed to strengthening ties with sub-clubs, supporting grassroots sport, improving member experiences, and ensuring our Club continues to reflect the community it serves.

Oliver Griffiths:

I have made the decision to stand for the Country Club's Board of Directors as I believe that I can provide an alternative, fresh vision for the Club and its membership. Many members would recognise me as their local Aldi Store Assistant, having worked at the Vincentia store since 2022 or from media coverage about my campaign to protect the right to use cash.

I am also heavily involved in various community groups including The Man Walk - St George's Basin, National Poker League - Shoalhaven, the 1st St George's Basin Scout Group, among others.

Previous experience as a company director is important, and I have proudly sat on the Board of Directors of the Bendigo Community Bank - Sanctuary Point & Districts since 2022. I am also

currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Economics & Finance at the University of

I have maintained a distinction average over the past four years and am set to graduate in 2027.

Malcolm Holland:

I have been a member of The St Georges Basin Country Club for over 22 years.

During this time, I played with and was elected as Captain of the SGBCC Veterans Golf Club, a position that I held for more than 10 years and for my efforts I was awarded Life Membership of this wonderful golfing group.

During my working life I was a highly qualified Pressure Welder operating my own fabrication business. When an opportunity arose with BOC Gasses to become a sales representative with them, I used my knowledge gained from having operated my own business to further my career eventually becoming the Sales Manager for BOC Industrial Gases and Welding Equipment for NSW, at one stage I was temporarily posted as the BOC Gasses, Sales Manager for New Zealand until a suitable person could be found to fill that role. I stayed with BOC Gasses until retiring after 20 years of continuous service.

BOC improved my industry and managerial skill set through a policy of training their Managers in Finance, Sales and Marketing, and Presentation skills. Skills that are valuable to me as a board member.

I have always had the best interests of the club at heart and I now seek YOUR support at this important time to re-elect me to the Country Club Board of Directors for a further three-year term, where I will as always act in the best interests of the Majority of the members of our wonderful club.

Trevor Ward:

I have been a proud member of the St Georges Basin Country Club since 1999 and previously served as Vice President of the Country Club Men's Golf Committee. Following my retirement from full-time work in April 2020, I was invited to join the Board of Directors to fill a casual vacancy.

Throughout my extensive career in civil construction and infrastructure, I have held senior management roles across the public and private sectors, including Shoalhaven City Council and various engineering and contracting firms. My expertise spans project management, contract negotiations, tender assessments, grant applications, site surveying, WHS, and environmental management. I am also highly proficient in Microsoft Office and related software systems.

Now fully retired, I have both the time and passion to contribute meaningfully to the future of our Club. Over more than two decades, I've witnessed tremendous growth in the Bay and Basin region and I'm committed to supporting the continued success of the Country Club and its members.
